Rugby is one of the only sports I know that players will play 80 minutes of high intensity, full contact rugby with a rival team and then meet at the pub for a pint (or 4) in celebration of the game. It’s hard to imagine such a physical sport having such a friendly culture but thats really what drew me to the sport, and it was the rugby family that kept me there. Rugger Hugger was created as a social media post to bring light to rugby and promote the fun loving and welcoming attitude all ruggers share.
