OurNYC respite areas serve to educate tourists, decrease overcrowded sidewalks, and provide an area of rest. This aims to combat the stigma of respite areas; that rigidly separate newcomers from the New York community. This will ultimately welcome tourists and residents alike in an informative, cohabitative way.
